How to Feed Your Magic
Gold Dust Femme is both an archetype and space for magical expression and exploration, where plant magic, tarot, cooking and creative practice merge. You will find recipes, astro playlists, one on one tarot sessions, networks of support, writing, coaching and more.
I teach tools to connect with your body, cultivate inspiration, and build trust with your intuition and personal magic.
Im a house witch and medium, practitioner and protector. I have deep love affair with plants, they are spiralic teachers and helpers for me in this life journey.
I work with a beautiful spectrum of individuals, including-artists, organizers, small business owners, caregivers, healers, writers, punks and academics. I write blogs and newsletters sharing seasonal moon food recipes, plant magic spells and tarot-moon musings.
My magic is rooted in love and liberation, care and protection, with deep intentions for study, practice, boundaries, collective care and service. I stay grounded in the knowing and not knowing, always listening to the plants.
Tarot sessions offer channeled support through archetype, messages and symbolism. This magical container is where the cards tell the story and I weave practices and witch tips to integrate the messages from your reading. I offer 30 min quickie check-in’s and 1 hour What the F is Happening sessions for deeper insight and clarity. Both sessions offer a short meditation catered to your energy/needs. photos and notes provided after.
Creative coaching sessions teach strategies for organizing ideas into projects and integrating operational flow systems so you can feel confident in what you want to create. In these sessions I offer strategies to work within your capacity and clearly communicate your vision.
I merge the magical with the practical using candle magic for project intention setting, creative play techniques for brand development, and tarot archetypes for creative change times in you life. These sessions are a container to strategize your basic backend operating systems for your creative business-think newsletter integration, setting up email account to your website or adding your storefront address to google.
My work/study/research is rooted in multiracial Queer feminist theory, feminist art, abolition, grounded social theory and trauma-informed interdisciplinary healing modalities. I use this lens throughout my writing, research and work with people. In tarot sessions we may explore how June Jordan’s book Soldier is a source for understanding the page of cups journey. A Moon Food recipe with Eggplant may connect back to Dorothy Allison’s short story A Lesbian Appetite.
Plant babe sessions are for people who want to implement energetic herbal support in their daily routines, seasonal flow and nervous system care.
My hope is to inspire you to feed your own magic and grow what you want to see in the world.
Everyone deserves to have access to safe and empowering support systems. As a Queer Femme I value sacred spaces where you can feel seen and respected. I offer my sessions for anyone and everyone, respecting boundaries, privacy and the scope of our work together. I do not support manipulative coaching methods, spiritual bypassing, gendered spiritual binaries, cultural appropriation or disregard for science. My services are not to magically heal you or convince you to change your life or predict your future. I’m a guide, a channel and a human ready to be your cheerleader and share a few tricks from my witch bag :)
All sessions offer integrative practices (homework :) for you to apply in your life. Many people work with me in times of change and transitions or when they are looking for magical support to listen to what they usually already know. I teach people to use tarot as a lens to see through our ego-human limitations and as a tool for navigating your path, hopefully providing more clarity on your journey.

About The Witch
Nicole Roche She/They
I created Gold Dust Femme as an expression, space and archetypical brand of me and the magic I want to share and hold in the world. Gold Dust Femme is woven with my sparkle, interests and offerings.
I’m a white able-bodied Queer Femme. It is a lesson and a blessing to be on this path in this lifetime. I’m a witch, artist, writer, moon lover, cook, recipe alchemist, tarot nerd and ancestral pattern transformer. I work in design/architecture by day managing operations, comms and marketing. I have wrote about moon food, healing, feminist theory and tarot through modalities of narrative, art and healing justice for the past 10+ years.
I feel most embodied in a kitchen, on a dance floor, in a garden, swimming in the ocean and after a Tarot reading. I believe in radical dreams becoming reality. I believe in healing alone and together. I believe we all deserve to eat deliciously and be in our pleasures.
When I’m cooking or daydreaming of recipes, I channel the magic of the women and witch’s in my family who used herbs and food rituals for circling people around joy.
Originally from the North East, I was born and raised in CT, with family roots in Philly, South Jersey and NYC. Im deeply loyal, direct and know how to drive stick shift in the snow ;) After 10 years in NYC I moved to Los Angeles amongst the crows, jasmine and hummingbirds. I grow a love home full of plants, books, good food, vintage clothes and vinyl records with my partner and 2 sweet elder tortie sister cats.
My Witch Journey
I come from a lineage of witch’s on both sides of my family. As many witch wounds go, they didn’t really talk about, or really they did but didn’t call it magic, only in whispers. My great granny sewed clothes and talisman. My mom said all things come in 3’s. My Granny whispered about the jewelry I wore and how I was like the Aunt who was a witch in Romania. I sang to flowers, whispered to candles, collected shells, let spiders crawl on my finger tips and could sense a deceitful energy immediately. I felt and heard lotsss of things in my haunted home town. I started meditating and practicing magic in middle school. I felt this sense of difference inside me very young, queerness and magic interwoven. A little witch watching over me. A knowing. I was curious and scared, but I found my way. All on time and just fine.
I worked as a house manager, plant based family cook, nanny, DIY vegan baker and vintage sales queen in NYC for 10 years. I dropped out of a graduate program in Sociology to follow this weirdly beautiful path. I wanted to put research into practice. I created and worked on many different projects ranging from food, styling, aromatherapy, herbalism, photography, writing, cooking, nightlife, social justice organizing and the magical arts. I was a queer club kid, witch and artist living my best Femme life in Brooklyn. I had many wonderful adventures and learned so much about myself.
I saw community care in action and practice; messiness and all. I learned to embody my magic and power with other queer femme witch’s. I learned to direct my energy and magic for care, protection and liberation. I made art and was in art and felt it pulsing among us.
Brooklyn was foundational to my growth as a witch, Femme, artist and practitioner. There was this feeling we were experiencing something very special and sacred that was remixed with old and new, all while knowing it wouldn’t last forever. I learned to savor Queer joy, heal and accept.
Over time I cultivated my practice and knowledge in tarot, plants, channeling and moon magic, all rooted in liberation, radical healing and care.
My journey and experiences are unique and so is the work I do. My hope is to bring more magic, plants and deliciousness to people. My prayer is we find healing with ourselves and each other. I’m a witch who writes, cooks, heals, channels and sniff a scam a mile away. I accept the assignment as a gift to serve in this way. I’m not for everyone and I think that is good. Im firm in my boundaries and energetic practices. I do not work with magic that is not mine and do not go beyond my scope or limits. I’m not for everyone and I think that is good. People should follow their own inner spidey sense.
Take what connects for you, leave what does not and trust your deep inner knowing will always be the truest voice. Also, there are so many wonderful witch’s and readers!
I stand in solidarity with BlPOC Liberation + Queer Trans Liberation, Free Palestine + BDS, Forest Defenders, Water Protectors, Abolition, Indigenous sovereignty+Land Back, Reproductive Justice, environmental repair, open borders for all, body liberation and freedom.
I believe in the beautiful power of food justice + abundance, pleasure gardens, science that is wonder, healing, whole body nourishment, queer love, queer dance floors, ancestral healing and repair, oceanic magic, collective care, sunsets, poetry, otherworldly dimensions, Witch’s, Femmes, plant magic, roses, pickles and JOY.
