Feed Your Magic: Mary’s Revenge Martini

Introducing, Mary’s Revenge. My newly alchemized cocktail recipe blending my love for bloody Mary’s and dirty martinis. Inspired by my love’s love for bloody Mary’s and Sunday cocktail hour. It tastes like golden hour on the cusp of fall and the last tastes of summer. It is laced with pepperoncini and olive juice brine, making it deliciously dirty and spicy. Don’t skip the horseradish or black peppercorns , it is not too intense and ties together the Bloody Mary mix with the martini elements. Use your favorite bloody Mary mix. I’m working on a Toma-Tini recipe using blistered cherry tomatoes which I hope to use in this recipe at some point, for now we are working with simple store bought mix, I used Mr. & Mrs. T’s spicy bold blend. Add extra ice to your shaker, yes we are shaking this martini. Serve in a chilled glass. Add a dash of ground pepper after pouring and your favorite olives for garnish. This drink serves two to three drinks depending on the size of your glass. Swap out gin for a zero proof gin or vodka. Pairs well with a charcuterie plate and sautéed shishito peppers, pop-corn and pasta.

Mary’s Revenge

Ingredients

3 ounces gin

1 1/2 ounces olive juice

1 1/2 ounces pepperoncini juice

3/4 ounce dry vermouth

1/2 tsp whole black peppercorns

1/2 tsp horseradish

1/2 tsp lemon juice

1 1/2 ounces bloody mary mix

Dash of sea salt

Chill glasses in the freezer. Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker + 4 ice cubes. Shake well for about 30 seconds-1 minute. Pour thru sieve into chilled glasses. Garnish with dash of ground black pepper and olives of your choice. Enjoy!
